Subject: another noisy crowd

The sax player must be Charlie Parker's ghost on inaudible sax ;-)
Joan doesn't really nail Stella Blue the way she can, but it must also be dis-heartening to sing a fragile and intense song like that in front of a non-stop talking audience.

Subject: To These Ears...

Thanks Eric for getting these outstanding shows up for all to hear, and for giving us choices on these recordings. To these ears I prefer the mid/side mic setup, as it seems to give better spatial separation and depth. To each his own, can't go wrong with any version of this show!

who is playing sax? I love the whole tour at the capitol thanks making it possible to hear it after.
